Swiss-born conductor Federico Frigo recently made his Conducting debut with the Orchestra della Toscana and Soloist Ettore Pagano in Florence. He studied Orchestra Conducting with M° Gilberto Serembe at the Italian Conducting Academy and composition with M°Paolo Tortiglione at the Verdi Music Conservatory in Milan.

He attended international Conducting masterclasses with Prof. Nicolás Pasquet in Spain and Bulgaria, with Jorma Panula in Hungary and with Martin Sieghart in Czech Republic.

In October 2021, Federico was invited by Daniele Rustioni to assist him with the Ulster Orchestra in Belfast. In May 2022, he was invited to serve as assistant conductor at the Teatro alla Scala for a production of the ballet academy.

Federico has been invited by the LEAD! Foundation to take part in the "4th Fiskars Summer Festival and Academy“ in Finland, mentored by Jukka-Pekka Saraste, Esa-Pekka Salonen, James Gaffigan, Dalia Stasevska and Composer Magnus Lindberg.

He has collaborated with Orchestra della Toscana, Kecskemét Symphony Orchestra, Hradec Králové Philharmonic Orchestra among others.

In the following months he will make his debut in Herford (Germany) with the „Nordwestdeutsche Philharmonie“.
